PO1 | Exposure to Legal Knowledge: Identify and apply foundational legal concepts in legal areas. The programme aims to give exposure to the legal knowledge acquired by the student as well as provide a platform to demonstrate this knowledge through participation in moot court competitions, mock trial competitions, etc. |
PO2 | Effective Communication Skills: Imbibe effective communication skill in both oral and writing. Speak, read, write and listen clearly in person and through electronic media in English and in regional language, and make the world by connecting people, ideas, books, media and technology. |
PO3 | Professional and Life Skills: To imbibe the life skills such as effective study skills, time management, employability, leadership, negotiation, problem solving as well as to develop the ability to exhibit an accurate sense of self, deep understanding and personal motivation. Also to inculcate professional skills like Advocacy skills, Presentation skills required for conduct of advocacy as well as ability to draft and edit legal memoranda, briefs, and other documents. Continue to acquire relevant knowledge and skills appropriate to professional activities. |
PO4 | Critical Thinking: It is self-directed, self-disciplined, self-monitored, and self-corrective thinking. It presupposes assent to rigorous standards of excellence and mindful command of their use. It entails effective communication and problem solving abilities and a commitment to overcome problems. The programme is capable to create aptitude of critical thinking to be a sound and responsible person. |
PO5 | Effective Citizenship: The programme aims to create a responsible citizen and create awareness to become an enlightened citizen with commitment to deliver one's responsibilities within the scope of bestowed rights and privileges. |
PO6 | Lifelong Learning: To develop an attitude of self-reflection while learning & recognize the need for, and have the preparation and ability to engage in independent and life-long learning in the broadest context of changing legal contexts. |
PO7 | Professional Ethics: To understand and apply principles of professional ethics of legal profession. To explore relationships between the law, justice and society, demonstrate knowledge of rights and responsibilities in relation to the law, understand the reasons for rules and laws in society, investigate opportunities to participate in and contribute to society, and demonstrate highest standards of legal ethics. |
PO8 | Interpersonal Relationships: The programme is competent to create interpersonal relations among the students at college level as well as at work. To make students eligible to practice in Courts, Industries, Companies as legal practitioners. It serves a critical role in the development and maintenance of trust and positive feelings at the orgnization. |
